Western Districts Youth Club (WDYC) is a non-profit gymnastics sporting organisation that has been serving Brisbane’s North-West suburbs for over 50 years. Established in 1972, and incorporated as Western Districts Youth Club Inc in 1988, WDYC has a proud history in offering inclusive gymnastics programs catering to a wide range of interests and skill levels.
WDYC is affiliated with Gymnastics Queensland (and Australia) and is governed by a volunteer Management Committee, comprised primarily by parents of gymnasts who are current or past members.
Our facilities provide the youth of the Brisbane north-western suburbs the opportunity to experience the sport of gymnastics in a state of the art facilities. We welcome athletes of all levels and abilities and strive to ensure that gymnastics is accessible to all.
Our Coaching team comprises of some of Australia’s leading gymnastics coaches and judges, all accredited by Gymnastics Australia. To support your child on their gymnastics journey our coaches focus on delivering our programs through out club values of: fun, friendship, fitness and fundamentals.
In mid-2020, WDYC opened our second venue located on South Pine Rd, Enoggera. With two venues in the Western Suburbs, the club houses a large variety of specialised gymnastics programs including:

Every week, more than 1000 children of all ages ranging from toddlers, right through to adults, come through our doors. Our programs emphasise fun, fitness and the fundamentals of gymnastics. We instruct children ranging from 12 months old, through to adults, at every skill level whether it is competitive, recreational or skills development.

Our Management Committee
WDYC is a not-for-profit community Club operating under the guidance of a volunteer Management Committee. Our Management Committee and many other helpers are volunteers who offer their time for the benefit of the club. The Management Committee are always looking for enthusiastic people to assist with club events, promotion and marketing, sponsorship, building maintenance projects and other areas of club management. The Management Committee is elected by attending club members at the Annual General Meeting, which is held annually mid-year during Winter Carnival. The Management Committee meets each month.
